Time Wasters

Update

This post is causing quite a stir. When I talk about time wasters I am not talking about genuine clients.  I am talking about those men who have no intention of meeting up with their lady of choice for companionship. They get their kicks from calling up professional ladies of pleasure on the pretense that they want a booking but knowing full well they have no attention of making the appointment or they turn up to 'look and go'.

The overwhelming majority of men who  make appointments are, respectful, genuine and a pleasure to spend time with. Things happen and sometimes you have to cancel engagements/ meetings etc. So if you fall into this category ( as most men do)  please don't think I am talking about you. Because I am not. I hope this clears things up.

OK. I thought long and hard (excuse the pun) about writing this blog post but I thought why not?! It’s my blog. I write about what interests me. Besides I am a bit of a rebel and dance to the beat of my own drum. I do my own thing. I always have. It has its strengths and weaknesses.

One of the pet peeves and occupational hazards about escort work is the dreaded time wasters. These are men ( let’s face it the majority of people who visits escorts are men) who have no intention of meeting up with a professional lady of pleasure. However, get their kicks by wasting escort’s time in the following ways.

Not turning up for an appointment
Cancelling an appointment at the very last minute
Contacting  the escort on numerous  occasions to talk about a booking they never attend to honour
Turning up for an appointment ( without the escort’s booking fee) just to have a ‘good look’ at her and giving some lame excuse about how she looks nothing like she does in her pictures or she looks older/younger.
Constant cancelling of appointments/rescheduling.

I could go on but I will stop.

Yes. The time waster is like a sore that never seems to go away and from time to time it erupts. Every professional lady of pleasure has a story to tell and has at least experienced one of the above.

What these men (who are a small minority –but a major pain) don’t realise is that when an escort makes an appointment she does so  in good faith. The escort is spending her time arranging an intimate get together. This could include arranging accommodation, buying a special outfit for the occasion as well as getting ready for the rendezvous. Not only that but she can’t take other bookings for that particular time she has set aside for you.

So if you, cancel at the last minute, don’t show up or do show up and leave because ‘she looks nothing like her pictures’ that means that a genuine client who wanted to spend time with her loses out. She also loses out too

Imagine if you ran your own business or were an employee and someone caused you to spend a lot of time doing something that is unnecessary or does not produce any benefit you would not be too pleased or happy about it. Why would you?!  Nobody likes a time waster, including us escorts.

Tell me what you think in the comments.

10 Best Hot Places in London

I have a soft spot for reality shows especially the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise – Atlanta, Beverley Hills and New York are my favourites. Yep. I can appreciate ‘trash’ television when it’s good and the cast members give the audience a knowing wink. You know don’t take it too seriously. It’s entertainment! All this orchestrated drama is for your viewing pleasure. And I eat it up.

Oh yes! I can be frivilous.

I recently got addicted to 'Ladies of London'. A new London based reality show which is part of Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives' franchise. The clue is in the title. We get to fallow a group of affluent US and British women as their go about their daily glamorous lives (do people really live like this? Of course!) for our consumption. The Americans do seem to be like fish out of water, desperately trying to fit into British society but not quite succeeding. As a Brit I find it all bizzare. And the opening credits just play up to stereotypes.

The breakout star (she’s got everybody talking) is Caroline Stanbury. A rather attractive, blonde, upper class lady with a sharp tongue, a witty reply to hand and a heart of gold. Although she tries desperately to hide it.  Caroline seems to know the people who ‘matter’ in London society. She’s been making all the rounds on US television and media giving interviews. One of those interviews was to  USA Today – I guess a national tabloid newspaper similar to our Daily Mail, the Sun and Daily Mirror - giving advice on British etiquette and sharing her top ten best places to visit when in London. This is the whole reason for this post. It's a rather long winded way to get there but we get there. So below is Ms Caroline's list of the hottest places in London Town right now.
